Why Jesus?

Because He went to the cross for you. He thought of you and all you would do and didn’t want you to die and go to hell. So, by dying, He made a bridge that allowed us to return to what we were created to be…in relationship with Him and the Father! And all He asks is for you to learn and follow your ABCs:

A- Admit
Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent, turning away from your sin.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

B- Believe
Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3: 16

C- Confess
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-10, 13

Accepting Christ is just the beginning of a wonderful journey with God! Get to know Him better in a number of ways:
* Follow Christ’s example in baptism.
* Join a church where you can worship God and grow in your faith.
* In your church, get involved in Small Groups and Bible Studies.
* Begin a daily personal worship experience with God where you study the Bible and pray.
* Build relationships with others to bring them to Christ and encourage them in their faith.

He is not asking you to be perfect or to have everything in order, because He enjoys helping you get there!!

Remember: The Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) comes before the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)…literally, it does! 🙂
